Harris County Juvenile District Court Judge Leah Shapiro and the Harris County Juvenile Probation Department, along with the Texas Criminal Justice Coalition and Houston reVision, invite you to a critical convening on school discipline and juvenile justice. This Kick-Off Event will convene schools, courts, law enforcement, and other related agencies to jumpstart a community-wide planning process to develop and implement effective strategies to reduce the number of students arrested and referred to court for misbehavior incidents at school. With over 15 years of experience, Judge Stephen Teske will be on-site to provide guidance and technical assistance.
